Who is responsible

This website is run by David Bohmann, owner of the Fuengirola Paradise apartment, Avenida Carvajal 67, 29640 Fuengirola, Spain ("we"). For any privacy question, write to info@fuengirolaparadise.com.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We do not build profiles of visitors, so there is no cookie banner.

Contact form and e-mail

When you use the contact form we receive your name, e-mail address, message and the language of the page you sent it from. The message is delivered to our mailbox through Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS, region Frankfurt) and is not stored anywhere else on our servers.

We use these details only to answer you and, if you book, to prepare your stay. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after your last message, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Hosting and technical data

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and CloudFront). To deliver the pages, AWS necessarily processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We do not keep access logs. AWS acts as our processor under its data processing terms; transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Map on the guide page

The map on the guide page loads map images from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom). When the map is shown, your browser sends your IP address to their servers. The OSMF privacy policy applies to that connection. No other page loads anything from OpenStreetMap.

Weather and availability

Weather and availability information is fetched by our own server and served from this website. Your browser does not contact any weather service or booking platform to show it. Weather data comes from Open-Meteo.

Bookings

When you press Book you leave this website and continue to our booking page operated by Guesty. Guesty and its payment provider process your booking and payment details under their own privacy policies; we receive the booking details we need to host you.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@fuengirolaparadise.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

We update this policy when the website changes. Last update: 5 October 2026.
